Was there a better time to be a fan of Chicago sports than in the 90s? Yeah! The Aughts! But the Aughts did not have Michael Jordan. Well, they did, but we dont talk about that. Lets celebrate the greatest team of the decade. Let’s talk the greatest sport of the decade. Is it Baseball, Football, Basketball? The answer may surprise you. Football had its Cowboys, and Baseball had its Steroids. Basketball had Jordan, the Dream Team, and that ‘96 draft. Ok, the answer may not surprise you.

So this was a last minute subject for us. Does this squeeze in to TV? Do we talk Films? The answer is yes. But mostly TV. Animated Series’ came into their own in the 90s. Hell, Spielberg was making cartoons. So its relevant. Growing up 90s these are what truly shaped us. The stories we learned and the voices who told them.

We were children in the 90s. Of course our first voyage is Toys. We’ll break down the top selling toys of each decade and share some personal experiences on a few of our own. Power Rangers. Check. Tomagotchi. Check. Pogs. Check. We’ll do some deep diving on the history of wrestling figures. Plus plenty of love for the phenomenon known as the X-men, and the weekly action figures released by Toy Biz.

Brian had to go play dad at home, so we slid @SMJuiceman across the table as we deep dive on the current state of sports and what is wrong and/or right with the NBA. We spend 99% less time talking about LeBron James than ESPN does and you are welcome for that, no guarantees on Steph Curry though. Does Adam Silver deserve to be elected to public office? Does Kyle wish that he was a little bit taller? Does Chris wish that he was a baller?
